Join us. June 3, 2009. Vancouver, BC

For a spectacular evening of art and advocacy.

Unite with Art is a series of art auctions to benefit UNICEF’s Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS campaign. The inaugural Unite with Art Auction and Gala was held on June 21, 2008 in Vancouver and raised over $276,000 for the campaign.

Each event will showcase high profile regional and national artists in several mediums. The gala events will be comprised of entertainment and a live, and complimentary silent auction. Through the generous contribution of artists, galleries and private collectors, Unite with Art aims to donate 100% of the proceeds to this UNICEF campaign. The event has been designed to bring awareness to this important initiative as well to celebrate the artistic skills and talents of the artists.

Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS is the largest campaign ever initiated to bring the world’s attention to the global impact that HIV and AIDS has had on children and youth. More than 2.3 million children under the age of 15 live with HIV, most having contracted the virus through mother-to-child transmission. These children have fallen victim to this pandemic the world over, reaching from sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States and Asia to the Americas. Efforts to expand health care services and prevention measures will enable UNICEF to make this the last generation to bear the brunt of AIDS.
