Artists donate work to help kids with HIV

Vancouver, BC – Yet, for the second year in a row, Vancouver artists have donated scads of work to the Unite with Art Auction and Gala, which raises money for UNICEF's Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS Campaign. So while it's possible that, as Stephen Harper said, "ordinary people" don't care about the arts, the reverse is demonstrably not true. The arts seem to care deeply about ordinary people - especially people like the 2.3 million children under the age of 15 living with HIV, mostly due to mother-child transmission.
